We are sad to be saying goodbye to several long-time PTA volunteers whose students are
graduating this year. We are looking for volunteers for the following appointed Directors for 2020-2021:
Reflections Chair in training – oversees the Shorewood Reflections program (student art competition).
Family Services - Coordinates Shorewood PTSA participation in the WORKS and, along with ASB, publicizes and organizes Shorewood collections for the holiday food and teen gift drives.

PTSA Standing Rules
The name of this PTSA local unit is Shorewood High School PTSA 6.12.105.
This PTSA serves the children inthe Shorewood High School community which includes the residences and businesses in the Shorewood High School enrollment area.
The Shorewood High School PTSA shall be governed by and conform to the Bylaws for the Local Units of the Washington Congress of Parents and Teachers.
2020-2021 Standing Rules
Shorewood PTSA is the local chapter of a much larger organization.
PTA and Boosters
The two organizations cooperate, but are completely separate. PTA focuses on academic assistance and basic needs while Boosters focuses on extracurricular enrichment. See Shorewood Boosters

Responsible for communication regarding PTSA activities and events to Shorewood families through the Shorewood Newsletter PTSA Website, PTSA Facebook page.

Classroom Grants (formerly known as Enrichment for Quality Classrooms or EQC) is a PTSA committee whose mission is to provide much-needed classroom equipment and materials for Shorewood High School.
Coordinates Shorewood PTSA participation in the WORKS and, along with ASB, publicizes and organizes Shorewood collections for the holiday food and teen gift drives.

Informs, educates, and encourages advocacy among the membership and community on issues that affect the education, health, and safety of our kids. Provides updates through the Shorewood newsletter and coordinates advocacy events
Promotes PTSA Membership during the fall membership drive, collects membership registrations and Pass the Hat donations, communicates with Washington State PTSA.
Forefront Suicide Prevention
Works with Shorewood administration to coordinate Forefront Suicide Prevention program with students and staff
